Get fit, have fun – do karate

Important note: As of October 2021, we require all students who are eligible to be vaccinated against Covid-19. We’ll review this policy when the time is right for our community in Te Taitokerau.

Seido Karate Whangarei just loves new students, and folks returning to Seido. Maybe you’ve done karate before, maybe not. It doesn’t matter, so long as you’re over 10 years of age and willing to give things a go, then Seido Karate might just be for you.

Seido Karate is a traditional martial art for the 21st century. Here in Whangarei we emphasise getting fit, having fun, and learning new life skills – things like self-defence, growing your ‘no quit’ attitude and developing your self-confidence.

Instructors Rob Forlong (6th degree black belt) and Bronwyn Dalley (6th degree black belt) have over 60 years’ karate experience between them – they’ll look after you and yours, and make sure you have a fine old time.
